DIAC Academic Partner, The British University in Dubai Offers New Undergraduate Programmes
The British University in Dubai (BUiD), announced the launch of new Undergraduate programmes. BUiD, the leading research – based University in the region was established in 2003 by the government of Dubai. Over the last 15 years, BUiD has graduated hundreds of Masters and Doctoral students in the fields of Education, Engineering, Management, Business, Law and IT.
It has pioneered cutting-edge learning and research for postgraduate programmes and has provided an important and growing community and resource for young professionals, leading academics, corporate managers and aspiring leaders of all description. The academic support that BUiD enjoys from its Russell Group universities in the UK has contributed to its success. These universities include Universities of Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
Now, BUiD is bringing the distinct experience of outstanding undergraduate British-education programmes. The undergraduates’ programmes will initially start with seven programmes in the Engineering & IT and Business. These will include BSc .Computer Science – Artificial Intelligence, BSc. Computer Science -Software Engineering, BSc. Industrial Engineering, BSc. Electro-Mechanical Engineering, BSc. Architecture, BSc. Business Management, and BSc. Accounting and Finance.
BUiD offers undergraduate studies after it had carved a niche for itself as an exclusively graduate university. This will certainly be a great advantage for fresh students who will benefit from an immense amount of research and graduate teaching experience from the faculty at BUiD.

The founders of the University are the Al Maktoum Foundation, the Dubai Development and Investment Authority, Rolls-Royce, the British Business Group and the National Bank of Dubai. The University is governed by a Council under the chancellorship of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
