DIAC has a dedicated Partner Development Team to support our Academic Partners. The PDM Team provides a platform that supports the exposure, visibility and growth of existing academic partners within DIAC. This includes initiatives such as networking events, market research studies, forums, recruitment fairs and education workshops.
The PDM team also aims to establish a relationship between the Higher Education sector with both Government and Private sectors.
The PDM Team creates initiatives such as:

DIAC Education Forum:
The DIAC Education Forum brings together key institutions, government officials, leading university administrators, influential faculty members and private sector professionals to discuss the successes and challenges in the higher education sector, to advance the dialogue in the field, and to enhance the quality of higher education, research and continuing education. It is an initiative focusing on Education and Knowledge and a forum for networking amongst professionals to forge long‐term collaborations.
Virtual Education Fair:
VEF is an online education fair, which is an innovative, creative and advanced way to brand and position your institute as a preferred education or training provider.
Student Recruitment:
DIAC PDM assists DIAC Academic Partners in their Student Recruitment efforts to elevate the profile of DIAC and the Academic Partners locally and internationally. The aim is to increase student numbers in DIAC and demonstrate the wide range of choices and opportunities that DIAC provides and to display the value of DIAC as a viable first choice for local and international students.
Student Recruitment events include: School visits (road shows), School tours (DIAC tours), Student Recruitment Exhibitions, and the DIAC Open Day.
Research & Development Platform:
The R&D Platform was established to position Dubai as an Education hub for the region, ignite innovation, research, and product development coming out from DIAC, encourage the collaboration between the higher education sector, public sector and corporate sector, shift companies from being sales and marketing offices into product development and innovation centers and enhance the quality of universities, programs, faculty and students.
It is divided into 4 steps:
- Understanding the capabilities of DIAC Academic Partners, current research status within companies and government
- Build and maintain the platform for Research within DIAC
- Raising funds and finding research opportunities within the region
- Managing the R&D platform and the development of the projects
